TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROJECT.
Fungi Factor is an organization providing companies with mycelium. By utilizing cigarettes as the fungi's nutrition source, we simultaneously promote environment sustainability.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO SOLVE THIS SPECIFIC PROBLEM?
Cigarettes cause detrimental effects to the environment. 4.5 trillion cigarettes are casually disposed every year, making them the most littered object in the world. They have tar-containing filters, a substance consisting of 7,000 additives that are created when the tobacco is burned; and over 50 additives carcinogenic to humans. The tar leaches into soils and waterways, causing disastrous effects to our agriculture, water sources, and wildlife.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT THE FINAL ROUND?
We're excited to be able to network with successful entrepreneurs. As a team that seeks constant improvement, we want to learn from experienced individuals that can help bring our company to the next level. Also, we want feedback from everyone we meet at National Conference!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST NERVOUS ABOUT FOR THE FINAL ROUND?
We want to show that this idea is feasible and implementable. However, it may be difficult to demonstrate since it's a novel concept in the market. As a result, we're not sure how the judges will critique the viability of our idea.

DID YOU THINK YOU WOULD MAKE IT THIS FAR IN THE COMPETITION?
Not at all! We're very humbled for this wonderful opportunity to compete among amazing entrepreneurs. We're thankful for everyone who has supported us, from the beginning when we first entered this competition, to now as we prepare to present our final pitch at National Conference.
