MyIntent Project, COO
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB.
I’ve worked at MyIntent for 1 ½ years. The MyIntent Project strives is to serve as a catalyst for meaningful conversations and positive action. We are a quickly expanding e-commerce business, and as the COO, I oversee all operations and a multi-million dollar marketing budget.
MyIntent is actually a family business my older brother started. As a part of the team, I also get to work alongside my dad, my wife, and my sister-in-law. Working at MyIntent, I personally strive to synergize the various experiences I've accumulated over the years in e-commerce (Amazon.com), brand marketing (P&G - Gillette), and product design (P&G - Tampax).
One of the best things about my job is seeing the amazing ways our customers utilize the MyIntent Project to make positive impact within their communities. I’ve seen teachers have their students set intentions, and I’ve seen managers from Fortune 500 companies incorporate our products into team building. I’ve even seen community leaders fundraise $1,000s to donate to causes.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?
To put it simply, I love "life hacking”. For example, I travel the world for free by maximizing on credit card points. I love good food and am a Yelp Elite. I'm also an Airbnb Superhost.
WHY ARE YOU SERVING AS A FINAL ROUND JUDGE?
I love discussing new business ideas. I’m also looking forward to learning about the amazing projects the SASE community has come up with.
WHY SHOULD STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS ATTEND THE FINAL ROUND AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE?
They should attend to be inspired about their possibilities!
