Evaluation
SASE’s Leadership Awards are scored by a group of anonymous judges who represent the STEM industry as technical specialists, ERG representatives and leaders, and HR personnel. Nomination packages are scored using a cardinal rank system. Each award category is evaluated against a different set of matrices which are weighted. The evaluation matrix for each award category is detailed below, please click on the award category.
Advocate
- AAPI Involvement, 30% - Demonstrated passion for improving the lives of the AAPI's
- Leadership, 25% - Has demonstrated leadership capacity both internally and externally
- Community Engagement, 25% - Gives back to the community. Volunteers.
- Achievements, 10% - Internal and external recognition of exemplary work.
- Current Position, 5% - Recognized by the company as an executive, mid-level or entry level.
- Other, 5% - Opportunity to award points for other exemplary measures
Emerging Leader
- Leadership, 30% - Personally and/or professionally. Has lead a team or project. Participates in an ERG or similar group.
- Community Engagement, 25% - Gives back to the community. Volunteers.
- Professional Achievement, 20% - External recognition of exemplary work.
- Technical Achievements, 15% - Internal recognition of exemplary work.
