Good afternoon/morning #SASEfamily,

There have been questions about SASE’s National Conference in Pittsburgh, PA on October 8-10, 2020.  First and foremost, we will always prioritize the safety of our attendees and sponsors. SASE has been and continues to watch the rapidly changing events and the impacts of COVID-19. The National Conference is more than 6 months away and is outside of the many guidelines and restrictions currently in place.  As of now, SASE plans on hosting our National Conference in October as scheduled. We are currently expecting registration to open on June 1st, a slight delay from our original May 1st target.

SASE is actively working on supporting our chapters and members through these difficult times. I want to recognize all of the #SASEfamily who are helping and supporting each other through this pandemic. As part of that support, SASE is planning to host "The Virus and Mental Health - 5 Essential Tools Moving Forward" webinar by JR Kuo on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 7pm MST. Please tune on SASE’s social media channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram to find out how to participate on this webinar and other events. Recordings will be posted on SASE’s Youtube after the live stream.

Here is the SASE resource page that covers updated info, hate crime reporting, well being class, and other related topics to COVID-19

SASE’s position on SASE events and meetings: follow local official health guidelines. In cases where there are conflicting or confusing information, SASE’s suggestion is to practice good hygiene and physical distancing.

Hopefully, we will see you at National Conference and be with your #SASEfamily soon.

Be resilient and stay safe.

Sincerely,

Khánh Vũ
