SASE to host its seventh National Conference

Northwest Chicago, Illinois (Oct. 12-14, 2017) - For its 10-Year Anniversary, the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) is excited to host its seventh annual National Conference and STEM Career Fair in Northwest Chicago at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. Last year, National Conference and STEM Career Fair attracted around  2,700 attendees from over 120 universities nationwide. It is the largest conference and career fair for Asian Americans in North America. Now with over 3,000 expected attendees, this year’s theme, “Empowering You,” revolves around empowering STEM professionals into becoming tomorrow’s leaders.

The three-day conference will conclude with a STEM Career Fair of 80+ companies and organizations recruiting for candidates. “In the past 10 years, SASE has grown from a dream into a reality that has impacted thousands of students,” SASE Executive Director, Khanh Vu, says. “There is still much left to accomplish but with the support of our sponsors, individual donors, and passionate volunteers, we [will] take SASE to the next level.”
